"Nature is self-healing and regenerating, it is beautifully delicate. But one shouldn't be fooled. Nature offers us some of the most amazingly safe and effective ingredients known. Plant-based oils and butters can moisturize, soothe, and heal just as well, often even better than their synthetic, chemical-filled counterparts."
We love pure ingredients. We use plants in our products because plants are healing, and plants are good for us regardless of how we take them in. Our bodies need plants and plant nutrition. Plants are living substances. They contain a vital life energy. It is what differentiates living matter from synthetically derived matter. Plants are composed of the same vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, enzymes, and hormones that we are. Our body recognizes plants as nutrition. We can safely eat most of them. We are always told to eat our fruits and vegetables because our bodies need those vitamins and minerals to be healthy. By using natural ingredients in our skincare products we benefit our health. On the contrary, synthetic ingredients are “manmade” chemicals devoid of life. The body recognizes that they are different from nature’s plants and one’s own chemistry. The immune system registers this as foreign, possibly toxic matter and does not know how to process this material. We run into trouble when more foreign, toxic matter is being introduced into our body than our body can get rid of.
We believe in simplicity. We believe simplicity is beautiful, and that you have the choice to bring it into your life. We also trust in nature, just as people have trusted in it for thousands of years. We believe that nature offers us the exquisite ability to soothe, heal, nourish, and beautify. With the skincare we create, the simplicity and power of nature’s ingredients is very important to us. We believe that you don’t need a lot of ingredients, especially a lot of unrecognizable synthetic ingredients, because sometimes it’s not only what you put into a product that makes it truly wonderful, but also what you leave out.
