Why Double Cleanse?
Some believe that Double Cleansing is the most through way of getting the skin really clean.
What is Double Cleansing?
Very simply put, double cleansing is a 2-step process that helps to achieve a much deeper clean. Step 1: Use an oil cleanser that lifts and dissolves the makeup, and sebum, that has become trapped in the pores. An oil cleanser because makeup and sebum are lipophilic (meaning they dissolve in oil), and Step 2: Wash away any remaining dirt and pollutants by using a very gentle AND moisturizing foaming facial cleanser. Always moisturize with a good moisturizer at the end of the cleanse.

Why We Never Use Water In Our Products
Water itself is not bad; we need water, it sustains life. But, therein lies the problem. Where there is water, there can be life in the form of bad bacteria and harmful microbes. If there is even a drop of water in a product that is applied to the skin, a preservative MUST be used. It makes no difference whether that preservative is natural or synthetic, if the preservative is doing its job, it is killing bad stuff that can grow in the product . . . this is good. What is not good however, is the preservative will also kill the beneficial, good bacteria (flora) that live on our skin and protect our immune system. This can severely compromise our health. We must protect our skin flora, our microbiome, for our health and wellbeing.
